Bokushi offers a program for American combat veterans searching for their "purpose" and a path forward. Now the government is concerned about the rapid rise of these well-armed, well-trained, and eternally loyal Shinjas into a cult-like "Program". The majority (80%) of the film, which has a budget of 38 million euros, will be shot in Thessaloniki, with the remainder in Drama, with filming continuing until July 25.
