Honestly, the whole time I was watching the show, I felt like it belonged on the SyFy channel

I’ve heard that you need to read the book to really understand this series, so maybe that’s why I didn’t find the story rich or engaging (because I get distracted by everything around me and that’s what happens when I lose focus). While you could say the production value was great, it just doesn’t feel like it belongs on MAX, especially with other huge hits.

Unfortunately, I think it falls into the category of more recent shows like Rings of Power (which I would think are actually better)
